steering wheel control

The Dynavin system communicates perfectly with your vehicle’s multifunction steering wheel. With the upgrade to Dynavin, you can control volume, telephone, track search (forward/backward) and other functions as usual. If a smartphone is connected to the system, you can even activate your voice control such as “Siri” or “Google Assistant” via the steering wheel.
Multifunction display (MFA)

The multi-function display (MFA) in the instrument cluster is linked to the Dynavin system and can display radio station names, ID3 tag from media player, caller information, navigation information and the compass (The MFD’s navigation menu needs to be activated if you don’t have it in your vehicle ).
climate indicator

The Dynavin 8 platform gives you visual feedback on driver and passenger temperatures, climate control status, heated seat status, selected air vents and more. This screen appears after pressing the MENU button on the HVAC control panel. In vehicles that support this function, you can also use the climate control menu to set the interior temperature and the blower direction (only for vehicles with “Air Care Climatronic” air conditioning).

Driver profile selection is retained in the Dynavin 8 platform. It allows you to select and set different driving modes via the touchscreen.
Vehicle settings (car menu)

Dynavin Pro for your vehicle retains the entire vehicle settings menu in the factory display. This means that all electronic devices that you can set via the factory display can continue to be set via Dynavin Pro.
Vehicle Information

The driving information is shown on the Dynavin 8 platform display. So you can continue to see the fuel level, range, fuel consumption, outside temperature and much more.
Parking Sensors-Optical Parking System (OPS)

If your vehicle is equipped with original parking sensors, this functionality is retained even when you upgrade to the Dynavin system. The optical parking aid supports the driver in addition to the acoustic parking aid and detects obstacles in front of or behind the vehicle. The position of obstacles within the detection field is shown graphically on the display of the sound or media system. In addition to the front and rear sensors, the four side sensors are also shown on the display.

If your vehicle is equipped with the original reversing camera, this is also supported by the Dynavin Pro system. You can see the dynamic guidelines in the rear camera mode
Compatible with Dynaudio sound system

The Dynavin 8 platform systems are compatible with the original VW Dynaudio sound system. All you need is the D8-MO150-V interface, which enables the Dynavin head unit to be connected to the Dynaudio amplifier.
Compatible with VW eCall/emergency assistant

The Dynavin 8 platform is compatible with the VW E-call (SOS) system. This eliminates the E-call warning message in the instrument display and you do not lose this important function of your vehicle.
Compatible with VW traffic sign recognition and lane departure warning system

VW traffic sign recognition and lane departure warning are very important driving assistance functions in VW vehicles. The D8-CANMIB-H allows you to retain these features even after the Dynavin unit has been fitted.
